We strive to generate enthusiasm, greater understanding and appreciation for advanced research in various disciplines with students. Through community outreach programs such as maintaining a public library, organizing book reading sessions/panel discussions and inviting lectures from academics, we inform the community about the major advancements and implications of current research in the sciences and liberal arts.

Social & Economic Rights Literacy
We are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in educating the community about social and economic rights. We adopt programs to enable understanding of fundamental rights, good citizenry and benefits of social welfare schemes. We support education of first-generation college goers, women from financially challenged families and children with special needs.

Biodiversity Conservation
We believe that understanding TK can make a significant contribution to environmental management and sustainable development. We support efforts to conserve ecological communities and document TK. We spread awareness about ecologically efficient practices and respect for cultural differences between communities at grassroot levels. We have 2 active projects in tribal villages of West Midnapore and South 24 Paraganas .
